OOo4Kids is a scaled down version of Open Office for. It has a simple interface and fewer features than Open Office. OOo4Kids is geared towards the 7 – 12 age groups.

This simplified version of Open Office has large buttons that easily identify the available features. All the basic features are available for creating documents. Write, Draw, Impress and Calc are available in this version. Base and Java are not included.
It is a smaller download, installs quicker and the program loads considerably faster than Open Office.
OOo4Kids could also be used for the person that is intimidated by the full featured Office programs. It could also be used as a stepping stone towards the full featured program.
